Formula Drift Long Beach (04-12-08) : (Long Beach,Ca.) Round 1 Formula Drift on the streets of Long Beach ... one word "HOT" ... like 95 degrees .. Damn ... Plain & simple a really fun event to attend (worth every penny), great location by the water, racing, Import car show, and even more girls at the vendor booths this year. The one draw back about the Long Beach course is depending on where you sit you will only see a certain part of the race. This year I took some shots from the general admission section at the end of the coarse so you could check out that view...honestly I think i liked it better there then in the reserve section view I had in 2007(see Formula D 2007 gallery)... If you go to a 2008 Formula D event don't miss the red Tanaka Racing Corvette... that thing just SCREAMS around the track... Congrats to Chris Forsberg (NOS/Maxxis Tires Nissan 350Z) for winning Long Beach 2008... Check out the champagne celebration photos at the end.

Super Autobacs Formula D Tech Day (3-29-08) : (Stanton, Ca.)Not a car show but Tech Inspection for cars that will be entering the Formula D drifting event on April 12th 2008 in Long Beach...Held on the parking lot of Super Autobacs auto store (the place is huge ..check it out)...A couple of nice Supras were hangin' out on the lot.

JDM vs. DTM Showoff Import Show (02-10-08) : (Chinatown/Los Angeles,Ca.)Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vs. Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) or you could just say Japanese & German tuners together. Import Car Show held in downtown Los Angeles during the celebration for the new Chinese Lunar Year of the Rat. --- Small car show --- there were some nice cars and a few models hanging out but it was just kinda too small for $10. If the same show was free or say $5 then I could say great little show for the money. Don't get me wrong it was fun to check out, they had quality cars, but it was too small for an entrance fee of $10, think of a bank parking lot, 20 minutes you could have walked around entire lot. Showoff also puts on an Import show during Nisei week (Japanese Festival) in August, thats a great show not to miss, think of this as a mini version of that.

NightShift (Hot Import Nights) Las Vegas (10-06-07) : (Las Vegas, NV.)Nightshift Import Motorsports festival held on the parking lot of Sam Boyd Stadium at U.N.L.V. Second year for Vegas show and its gettin bigger & better. Carshow, Drifting demos, Bike stunts, Freestyle MX, Mazda drive challenge, Go-Go Girls, Bikini contest, Models... Waaaay more fun then just a car show. Starts at 4pm goes till 11pm. When the sun goes down the lights go on.

Hot Import Daze (10-12-2001) : (Irvine,Ca.) I miss Hot Import Days !!! End of summer Import car show ... Some fun photos from back in the day, pictures taken with alittle point & shoot camera. Someone needs to brink back an outdoor summer Import show to Irvine or at least a park. Summer car shows on a Hot Parking Lot SUCK !! .. Look at the photos ..see how how nice it is on the grass, all the shade with having trees !! 2001 would be the year the Import scene broke out into the main stream. ~~ Notice how "Flames" were more popular on Imports back then.

Hot Import Nights (8-25-07) Preview : (Los Angeles,Ca.) Dark .. Loud ...CRAZY !!! this was the first year HIN felt like a model expo that had cars, not a car show with models.... serious instead of imports there could have been tractors and i dont think anyone would have noticed...hahaha .. I'll update more later

Showoff Nisei Week Import Show (8-18-07) Preview : (Los Angeles, Ca.) Sunny HOT !! I think it was 120 degrees ..ok maybe in the mid 90's.... Held during the Nisei Week Japanese festival in Little Tokyo this Import show brings some of the best cars & teams.... a quality car show thats not overpriced ($10)

Formula Drift (4-07) Preview : (Long Beach, Ca.) Fun in the LBC!! It was kinda cold, cloudy and overcast but a nice crowd of people, I say around 10,000 drifting fans stopped in. If you've never gone to see a drifting event, make it happen...its crazy fun.
