John Force Holiday Car Show (12-03-06) : (Yorba Linda, Ca.) Annual benefit(Toy Drive) Holiday Car Show held for California Highway Patrol. The show is set around the John Force Racing Complex. Alot of beautiful cars to check out & the best part is John Force opens his complex during the show for people to walk through. This show attracts a good size crowd, you will have to park a little distance away and walk since all the streets are closed off around the complex. -- Don't forget to bring an unwrapped toy!!! --

Sultans Car Club Car Show (07-23-06) : (Signal Hill,Ca.) Sultans CC held their 16th Annual Car Show in Signal Hill (a small city completely surrounded by the city of Long Beach). Good show, small but very nice since all the cars are set up on the park grass...lots of shade for a hot summer day in July... Free Show..

Great Labor Day Cruise (9-01-07) Preview : (Costa Mesa, Ca.) 2007 marks the 25th Year for this car show !!! .. Great event, held over the holiday weekend, many people who come to show their cars camp out on the O.C. fairgrounds turning this into a nice weekend BBQ party hang. This is a big show, cars everywhere, the best part is you can find a place to sit (some people bring their own beach chairs) and just wait as all day owners hop in their cars and drive around the fair grounds in a slow cruise. It's a car, its made to be driven, hearing the engines fire up and the sound of a muscle car cruisin' by is a beautiful thing. The weekend was beyond hot, mid to upper 90's ... since i didn't feel like dying of heat stroke so you guys could see pictures, i showed up about 4pm Saturday (show goes till 9pm) some people were already packing up their cars or covered their cars and went home ??? By 6pm it cooled off and with the sun going down it was such a nice time. I really believe the organizers of this event should make it that no cars can exit till 9pm, when the event closes. If you advertise the event closes at 9pm some people may want to just catch a couple hours at the end of the day. Other then that, I would have to say if you only could catch one muscle car / hot rod show I would put this high on the list.
